Radiator Cooling System
The car engine produces heat and the cooling system such as the radiator, water pump, water hose; water pumps works and the coolant work hard to prevent your car from overheating. If any one of the component failed the car will overheat. Through time, radiator get choked or corroded, which may lead to poor cooling or leak. It is advised to get the radiator flushed regularly, the hose and water pump inspected regularly for leaks. Extreme overheating will lead to severe damages to the engine and will cost you a bomb for repairs.
Is my car overheating?
Did you notice puddles of water under your car? Is your temp indicator showing higher than normal temp?
If it is, it’s time to send your vehicle in to the workshop for a check on the cooling system.
A simple radiator flushing with cleansing solution may help to remove build up on your radiator and your car will be up and running. Or it may help to prevent engine stalling and overheating if you have a leakage somewhere.
